The Federal Railroad Administration issued updates to the hazardous materials guidance on the one-time movement approval (OTMA) process. This Hazmat Tip provides an overview of the OTMA process and the three different OTMA categories, including a description of what packages/packaging or railcars fall in each category and how to get FRA approval for movement.
